Steve Bunce is a boxing expert of the highest calibre and is widely regarded as ‘the voice of British Boxing’. As a freelance television and radio pundit with over 25 years experience in broadcasting and journalism Steve is a character who has proved himself at the top level throughout his career. He has covered over 20 different world championships in 12 different countries, been to five Olympic Games and reported on over fifty fights in Las Vegas.

His media profile is highly established, appearing on multiple sports platforms. As well as being a regular columnist for Boxing Monthly, he is also a Boxing Correspondent for The Independent and the Sunday Herald.  Steve has a monthly boxing show on BBC Radio Five Live and a weekly sports chat show on BBC Radio London 94.9FM's weekday sport show. 

Steve makes regular appearances as a pundit on the BBC sports programme 'Inside Sport' and is one of the most revered guests on BBC Radio Five Live's 'Fighting Talk'. Until June 2009, Steve presented his own boxing programme on Setanta Sports called 'Steve Bunce's Boxing Hour'. The programme was so popular that when it was taken off air it caused a backlash from fans, prompting the ‘Bring Back Steve Bunce’ Campaign.

His energetic exuberance and personality has endeared him to fans and professionals alike, inviting praise from some of the biggest names in the industry such as the distinguished world champion Chris Eubank who quipped, ‘Steve Bunce is a legend in boxing’.

In 2010, he published his debut work of fiction 'The Fixer', a fast-paced boxing thriller. Sport Magazine praised the novel in a recent review, "Steve Bunce knows this colourful world inside out and the story crackles with so much authenticity that you can almost smell the stale sweat and leather as you turn the pages."

He currently presents the ESPN UK version of the American sports talk show 'Pardon The Interruption'. Steve’s vast experience in sports broadcasting, in particular his boxing knowledge means Steve is an expert in constant demand.
