Simon’s career had humble beginnings. Having tried several deeply unsatisfying fields, he decided that, if life was going to be tough, it might as well be tough because he’s following his dreams. Dreams of a career in broadcasting.

Having moved interstate in his home of Australia, Simon approached the radio station TTT in Hobart, and offered to file tapes, sweep the carpark; anything. On the third time of asking, he was handed a broom. What followed was nineteen years of madness, success, seven radio stations spread across two countries, awards, number one shows, and now, in 2011, the greatest challenge of his career.

Simon is the host of Evenings on the UK’s largest commercial radio network, with almost 8 millions listeners per week: Heart. Simon presents Heart’s 7 – 10pm slot, Monday to Friday, broadcasting from far Western Devon to the East of East Anglia, from North Wales to the Southernmost tip of Kent, and from Peterborough to Southampton, via the Nation’s Capital, London. Throughout his career, Simon has had the opportunity to interview some of the world’s biggest stars, including: Puff Daddy, Victoria Beckham, Kylie Minogue, and Janet Jackson.

As he spent years at world-renowned Dance brands including Galaxy and London’s KISS 100, Simon picked up the skills, and the opportunities, to DJ at some of the finest clubs in London, the UK, Europe and beyond. His skills as a live event presenter have also been honed to a fine point over the years, at events across Australia and the UK. He has entertained crowds as large as 45,000 people, or as intimate as small corporate functions.

Never one to stray from a challenge, Simon is now taking on a syndicated, weekly Dance show across the US, is working on a book and a TV show, and is putting many hours into perfecting his skills as a voice-over artist.
