Born in London and raised in Hertfordshire, from a young age Daniel displayed an impressive drive to succeed. At the tender age of 11 years he entered a competition with Nickelodeon and landed himself the role of Assistant Presenter working across some of the channel’s top shows.
However, Daniel did not let this early success detract from his education. A model student, at school he was Head of Peer Support, at college a senior prefect and in his free time he spent several years volunteering at a local youth camp.
At 16 years old Daniel started his first business, a disco and events company operating across London. Keen to develop his budding entrepreneurial skills Daniel decided to attend the University of Birmingham to study Business Management & Communication.
At University, he juggled both his studies and presenting, landing a number of presenting roles. Securing work as the main weekend presenter on BXFM, a Blast news reporter for BBC radio 1Xtra, a weekday presenter for Birmingham’s Burn-FM and hosted his own show ‘Drive-time with Daniel Taylor’ for Shalom FM. Not one to shy away from the camera Daniel also landed presenting jobs for Sky’s ‘Thinkbox’, ‘Hired or Fired’ and ‘Film Fix’.
Daniel also managed to find time to work as Scheme Manager at Camp Beaumont giving his time and care to young children and worked for XUK as a Children’s Summer Scheme Manager. Not to mention, Daniel has recently been the host for Touch FM’s Breakfast Show whilst setting up business number two, ‘Yoonee.com' and graduating with a 2:1.
Daniel already has a wealth of presenting experience behind him and with his effortless charm, clean cut image and natural flair, he cuts a great prospect for the future.
